1930-2016
Peacefully, on September 14, 2016, Mom passed away at Stonewall, Manitoba.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy (1991) and her parents Gertie and Harry Briggs (1947 and 1957); sister Dorothy Giroux (2011); Son Bill (2001) and daughter Elizabeth (1994) and nephew Barry (1965).
Besides moms expanded family, she is survived by her children Wayne, Susan, Terry, Harry and Carol and niece Lynn Ponton. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Mom and Roy loved seeing North America by train and bus. Mom also took her trip of a life time to England in 2000. Mom loved her flowers, puzzles, reading, sewing, knitting, bingo and her bus trips to the casinos.
Mom was a member of the Stonewall Legion and the Stonewall Legion Aux.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Interment to follow at the Stonewall Cemetery.
