Obituary for Sharon Lee Strong
It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Sharon Lee Strong on August 15, 2016.
Sharon was born on November 29, 1957 in Stonewall, MB. Her early childhood years were spent in Argyle, MB and then her high school years were spent in Stonewall. She then moved to Winnipeg where she lived until her passing. Sharon was predeceased by her father, Elmer in 2000 and her mother, Jean in 2005. Sharon is survived by her brothers Barry (Melissa), Doug and Ken, sister Lori Combot (Jerry), nephews Brady, Riley and Wray, nieces Caitlin, Kylie and Kerri. Sharon will be truly missed by her best friends Debbie and Kim along with many other relatives, friends and coworkers
Sharon worked for the Salvation Army Community Ventures going onto her 22nd year. During that time, she worked both the front line and in management positions. Sharon took great pride in her work and the people she worked with adored her. Sharon was always there to lend a helping hand, however big or small.
A memorial service and a celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall, MB. Interment will follow at the Argyle Cemetery.
Rest in peace our dear Sharon. We will always love you to the moon and back.
