Obituary for Edward Barylski

Edward Barylski
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Edward aged 79 years, at his residence with his loving wife and family by his side.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Anne of 58 years, children; Sandy and Nancy (Alie, Nora, Claire, Eric), Debbie and James Evanchow (Austin), James and MaryLynne (Bradley, Stephanie), Wayne and Colleen (Braden, Carlee), Lloyd and Michelle (Taylor, Tyson), Brian and Beverly (Brooke).

Edward was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Pauline, sister Joyce (Ted) Krul, brother Norman, sister Jean at infancy, and in-laws Harry and Julia Byra.

Edward was born on November 5, 1936 and was raised on the family farm in Rosenburg. He met and married the love of his life, Anne Byra on August 23, 1958.

Edward worked as a miner at a young age in Red Lake, Ontario. Ed and Anne purchased the family farm in Vidir, MB in 1963. This is where they raised their family and still reside today.

Edward was a hard working family man and spent many winters away to provide for his family. He often would share many stories with family and friends of mining, logging and construction of many winter roads in the North.

Edward was a proud farmer. He was meticulous with their yard, equipment and farm land, it was his pride and joy.

Edward treasured his wife, children, and grandchildren. Gido was always proud of each of their accomplishments and had a special relationship with each of them.

Strong, compassionate, selfless and generous, we will always cherish his memory. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016, 11:00 am at the Arborg Bifrost Community Hall, internment will take place at the Hayek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to Hayek Cemetery Box 283 Arborg, MB R0C 0A0
