Wladimer (Walter) Peron
Peacefully with love around him, Walter passed away at the age of 88.
Walter was predeceased by his parents, Katharine (Kay) and John Peron of Komarno, MB. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Steven Peron of Komarno, MB, Mike Peron of Thunder Bay, ON, Tony Peron of Komarno, MB, Mary Pohl of Creston, BC, and Bill Peron of Winnipeg, MB.
Left to mourn his going away, till we all meet again, are his sister Olga (Wilbert) Paulson of Ashern, MB; his sister Verna (David) Gregorchuk of Winnipeg, MB; and his sister-in-law Helen (Bill) Peron of Winnipeg, MB. Also left with wonderful memories are his Nieces and Nephews, Great-nieces and Great-nephews, Cousins, dear Friends and Neighbors.
It is with great sadness and many tears we announce the passing of our Beloved Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Cousin, Friend and Neighbor.
Walter worked in many places including Red Lake, ON and Creston, BC. He came back home when his Father needed help on the farm. Walter was there for anyone who needed a hand. He enjoyed spending time with people, whether working or sitting on the porch in the sun or under a tree for shade. Walter always had beautiful dogs, many Brunos and Benjis! Over the recent years he really enjoyed his apple trees and sharing the fruit.
Walter loved his farm. He took very special care of his animals. Walter enjoyed carefully tending to the gardens, meticulously cutting the acres of lawn and cautioning the frogs it was too early to come out. Walter also enjoyed cooking wonderful homemade meals, this came from working in the logging camps in BC.
Walter was known to say “I can’t go no place, I’m very very busy. All the time busy.” It was not easy to get Walter off the farm, however the “day” trips to Ashern, Gimli and Winnipeg were some of his favorites.
A service to remember Walter will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, MB. A private family viewing will be at 1:00 pm. Internment at Pleasant Home Cemetery to follow. Immediately following, we invite you to celebrate Walter’s life at Komarno Hall. Uncle Walter enjoyed gathering over homemade treats, we hope you will join us.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Winnipeg Humane Society will be very much appreciated.
