Pauline was the youngest of eight children. She was born at St. Boniface Hospital and lived in Sundown, Manitoba until she moved to Stonewall when she was 14. She graduated from Stonewall Collegiate and worked at Stonewall Taxi and Miller’s Restaurant, for many years she worked at Stony Mountain Penitentiary shredding paper. Pauline started joining us at Community Living in 1989. In 1996 Pauline lived in Winnipeg and then British Columbia, returning to Stonewall in 2002.
Pauline is survived by her cat Coral, her brother Paul from Germany, Sister Bev from Winnipeg as well as her daughter, Melissa who lives in Saskatchewan. Pauline enjoyed life and had a twinkle in her eye. In her later years when she was mostly confined to a wheelchair, she loved to talk on the phone, watching TV and socializing with her friends. She leaves behind many friends in Stonewall. Her family asked for Pauline to be buried in Stonewall so her friends could visit her grave when they miss her.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall.
