Obituary for Martha Dorothy Alfred
MARTHA ALFRED
JUNE 29, 1939- AUGUST 13, 2020
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Martha was predeceased by her husband Stanley, father Albert, Mother Colette, and sister Ida. She is survived by her daughter’s Barbara [Brian], Debbie [Ed], Tammy [Benji] and sisters Olga [Walter] Julliette [Peter], Stella and Jeanette [Terry] and grandchildren Austin, Jesse, Avery, Kailyn and great granddaughter Aria, also numerous nieces and nephew’s. Martha lived most of life as a rancher’s wife, which she loved dearly.
Her passions were hunting, fishing, trapping. She especially looked forward to yearly hunting trips with her sister and nephew.
As per Martha’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A private family service will take place at later date.
Special thanks to the staff at Stonewall General Hospital for making Martha comfortable in her final days.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
