Obituary for Mark Robert Bird
MARK ROBERT BIRD
February 10, 1961- December 6, 2022
After two years of cancer, Mark has gone Home to be with the Lord. He is loved and remembered by his family and community for his generosity and humour. His love of family and the value he placed on frequent gatherings have been passed down to his children.
His generosity was expressed in part by regularly driving family to events and sports, as well as clearing snow from the sidewalk in front of his community church.
Mark is survived by his wife Lisa, mother Edith, sons Joshua and Kennedy (Chantel), daughters Laura (Dustin) and Katherine (Trevor), grandchildren Karmyn, Charlie, Mary, Sophia and Evelyn, sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces.
The family wishes to thank Mark’s home care nurses, Dr. Graham and the staff at Stonewall & District Health Centre for their wonderful care. A funeral was held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
