Lynda Emily Meek Rozsa
Lynda Emily Meek Rozsa went to be with Jesus, Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was born to the late Anna and John Meek, May 9, 1947 at Vita Hospital. Lynda grew up in Sprague, Manitoba where she attended school, made many memories and married her husband of 42 years, the late Andy Rozsa.
Lynda moved to Winnipeg to attend hairdressing school. Her and Andy lived in Winnipeg for a brief time after marriage and returned home to Sprague to begin her business and raise their family.
Lynda is survived by her children, Penny (Rozsa) Brunet (Rolly), of Winnipeg, Scott Rozsa (Emilia Banez) of St. Anne and Lorelei (Rozsa) Hrabinski (Sheldon). Lynda also leaves her grandchildren, Haylee Brunet (Gianfranco), Makenzee Brunet (Matt), Lance Brunet, Makayla Rozsa-Grover and Brandin Rozsa-Hrabinski. Lynda’s heart family stretches across the globe. Lynda was predeceased by her loving husband Andy in 2008.
Lynda loved music, laughter and family. She embraced anyone who needed an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, challenge to face or joy to celebrate. Lynda brought light and joy wherever she went. She was always involved with Church and community. Whether you needed a cup of coffee, haircut, food or prayer, Lynda was always there. No matter what good she did or life she touched, she would say, “it’s not me, it’s Jesus”. Lynda has left wonderful memories with each life she touched.
Celebration of life service will be held at New Life Church, Stonewall, MB on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
