Obituary for Ida Claire Holowka
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ida Claire Holowka (Ferris) on July 16, 2019. Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1986, her parents John and Lily Ferris (Twerdun), 7 brothers and 2 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Dennis (Debbie), grandson’s Brad (Mireille), Derek (Chantal), Great grandchildren Deserae (Garret), Lily, and Will. Great great granddaughter Grace. Her baby sister Laura (George) Ledechowski, numberous nieces, nephews and special friends.
A special thank you to her niece Betty, Father Mark Tarrant, and the amazing staff at Meadowood Manor.
A service celebrating Mom’s life will be held at St Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg on Friday, August 2 at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Dr, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4.
