Obituary for Evelyn Elsie Hilderman
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Evelyn at the age of 88.
Mom was a wonderful and loving person, and will always be remembered by her children, George (Deborah), Keith (Robin), Karen (John); grandchildren Heather, Donna, Lisa, Chris, Corey, Candace, Tristan, Sterling and Charmaine. Mom was blessed this summer to meet her first great grandchild Amelia Evelyn Larson.
She is also survived by her siblings, Edith (Garth), Connie (Matt), sister-in-law Elma Charters, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Otto in 2007, her parents Hubert and Bertha Charters and her sister Alice Arnott and her brother Stanley Charters.
Mom was born on September 17, 1931 in Rural Shell River Municipality SE 1/4-2-28-30, the Boggy Creek District. In 1937 the Charters family of Albert, Bert, Bertha, Evelyn and Alice all moved to the San Clara District.
Otto and Evelyn were united in marriage on April 23, 1951. Mom and Dad farmed in the Makaroff District (Rural) Municipality of Shell River.
They retired to Roblin, MB for a while then in 2004 Mom and Dad moved to Teulon, MB at Cedar Lodge.
Special Thanks to the Homecare Nurses and girls that looked after Mom. Thank you to Stonewall Doctors and Nurses for their care.

In honour of Evelyn a graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Windsor Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at 92 2nd Ave S.W. Teulon, MB at 3:00 p.m.
