Obituary for Bert Layher
BERTHOLD LAYHER
Peacefully, on April 22, 2022 at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, Manitoba, Bert Layher passed away at the age of 84 years.
Bert was predeceased by his wife Anita. Bert was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandpa who loved spending time with his family. He was a loyal friend and neighbor who was there when anyone needed a helping hand. Bert loved to cook and share his meal with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him as he joins his beloved Anita.
Bert leaves to mourn, his children Ron, Norman (Candy), and Brian; sisters Victoria, Pauline; sister-in-law Lisa; brother-in-law Art; grandchildren Amy (Mark), Heather (Nathan), Travis (Rachel), Gina (Richie); as well as 12 great grandchildren; and grateful friends and neighbors Mike and Barb Futros.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Goodwin Lodge for the loving care they gave to their father.
As per Bert’s request cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
