Suddenly, on November 25, 2018 Russell has left to join his mom, dad and brothers Martin and Arty that he has missed for so long.

After many years of battling Parkinson disease Russell has been set free from this crippling disease. He remained strong and in great spirits through it all and continued to make many friends at the Fred Douglas Lodge, who has cared for him for the last three years.

He has left behind one brother Wilfred (Cheryl), two sisters Isabell (Roland), Shirley and sister-in-law Diana. Many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

We would like to thank Fred Douglas Lodge for all the care and support they have provided for Russell the last few years, for all smiles they put on his face. Thank you to you all.

As per Russell’s request cremation has taken place, no formal service will be held, and interment will take place at a later date.
